With a lot of business still sporting boarded windows in the off chance looters make another showing, Taco Bob's on Westnedge's has kind of blended in. One might have forgotten that the storefront was smashed in June after a car crashed in to it, and then rolled over. Thankfully it was early in the morning, and no employees were in the building at the time. After nearly three months, Taco Bob's on Westnedge is getting a face-lift.

Indeed, construction has begun on the only drive-through-only Taco Bob's location, and they will be closed during this time. It's unclear if the restaurant will see a full overhaul and upgrade, or if the work is simply to fix what was damaged during the accident, or how long the construction will take and how long they will remain closed. Like most businesses, I'd imagine, this location wants to be up and humming along as soon as possible. But in the meantime, if you're needing a Funny Taco, you have plenty of other locations to satisfy that craving.

With the loss of Taco Bob Ketteman in March and the accident in June, 2020 really hasn't been this local chain's year. But with a new facade, a fresh coat of paint, and a supportive community eager to see one of their favorite local places back open and ready for business, I'm sure our community will bring some good juju to the Ketteman and Taco Bob's family.
