Our friends at Crawlspace Comedy Productions welcome their first ever nationally touring comedian, Mike Gardner. Two nights only; Friday, November, 23rd and Friday, November 24th, at 8:00pm. Gardner, who just released his second DVD, "Better Than a Real Job," has been on MTV, FOX, WGN. This show is for adults only, as the content isn't safe for work... or children.
Festival organizer Dann Sytsma says, quote, "This is going to be a big one. We’ll be bringing back one of our most popular improvisers, Craig Uhlir, from Chicago, who performed at the festival back when it first started. We’ll also be featuring a live recording of the internationally known podcast Gettin’ Nuts, which is presented by its sister podcast, the extremely popular Hello from the Magic Tavern."
Because Crawlspace is now operating their own performance space, they are increasing their season from eight weekends to nine, and, according to the press release, "Crawlspace Comedy Theatre will offer weekly performances, including open mic, stand-up comedy every Monday, twice monthly improv comedy by Crawlspace Eviction and other troupes, sketch comedy and more."
