This 4th of July was particularly active with accidents.

Between the Field of Flight air show in Battle Creek and 4th of July fireworks displays, it's going to be a loud weekend for pets in West Michigan.

Held at Battle Creek Executive Airport in Southwest Michigan, the annual hot air balloon festival and air show takes place June 29-July 4, 2023.

The Michigan communities of Allegan and Dundee recently both experienced fireworks mishaps during summertime celebrations.

The City of Muskegon will have a traditional fireworks celebration on Independence Day.

According To Michigan Department of Natural Resources,  they have once again collaborated with the Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency to offer alternative camping options for veterans and other visitors seeking a quieter Fourth Of July.
