Procol Harum

Late Procol Harum leader will be honored at star-studded December show in Guildford, England.

He contributed to almost all of the band's song, including the classic hit "A Whiter Shade of Pale."

Piano Man performed "A Whiter Shade of Pale" during his recent Las Vegas concert.

Singer had been receiving cancer treatment.

His emotive, other-worldly style was captured in 1974's Bridge of Sighs, which included Day of the Eagle and Too Rolling Stoned.
