The Scorpions will celebrate their 50th anniversary pretty much the same way they've spent all the other ones: on the road.

Organizers say the Scorpions' outlandish rider requests have threatened the profitability of two European music festivals.

Now I'm not a huge fan of tribute albums most are rushed to be put together and are usually not that good.   I came across an article about a new tribute album for Ronnie James Dio and seeing the names involved it looks like it maybe one worth checking out.

The Scorpions are releasing a new live album called "MTV Unplugged Live in Athens" on Tuesday January 21st.  VH1 Classic is streaming the album here. You can also see the live concert on VH1 Classic tonight at 9pm.
