The Henry Ford Museum In Dearborn Changes Name
One of the great museums in our state is The Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn. The museum official changed it's name this week.
According to the story from M-Live, the museum has changed it's name to Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation.
I had the chance a few years back to visit and it is well worth the trip if you haven't been to the museum and Greenfield Village. If you have kids or are a fan of history, both are a must visit.
The museum features many historic items, such as the bus where Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat. The limo that John F. Kennedy was assassinated in and the chair Abraham Lincoln was sitting in when he was shot at Ford's Theater.
Plus, classic autos, trains and aviation. Historic furniture and even a home of the future.
