Tigers 2018 Opening Day VS. Pirates Tickets Still Available

If you ever wanted to go to an opening day in Detroit this may be a good year to go as tickets are reportedly still available.

According to the Detroit Free Press, the Tigers still have tickets available for the home opener at Comerica Park against the Pittsburgh Pirates on March 29th.

Usually if there is a sell out in Detroit it is the opening game but after the recent trades and coming off a down season we'll see if the team gets a standing room only crowd for the opener.

The Tigers are expected to have a down year but this year will still see some big events as the team will celebrate the Hall of Fame ceremony and number retirements of Alan Trammell and Jack Morris in August.

This is also the 50th anniversary of the 1968 World Championship team that was led by Hall Of Famer Al Kaline. The team will celebrate through out the year along with a weekend tribute in September.

Depsite the low buzz for the team you will still get a chance to see one of the best players in recent history, Miguel Cabrera and a few youngster who could be major stars in the future for Detroit.
