Tony Romo is part of the announce team for Sunday CBS NFL coverage.  He may miss his game this week due to playing in a golf tournament.

According to M-Live, Romo may miss the game this Sunday between the Bears and Vikings.  He shot his best round ever at a PGA tour event and is playing in the Safeway Open out in California.

Romo is tied for 24th and if he makes the cut he will not call the NFC North game between the Bears and Vikings Sunday afternoon.

If that happens then Boomer Esiason will replace Romo and call the game with Jim Nantz.

The game on Sunday features the Bears and Vikings in Chicago with both teams at 2-1.   It will air on CBS Sunday afternoon at 4:25 p.m.

The other big NFC North game on Sunday involves the Lions who are hosting the AFC West leading Chiefs at 1 p.m.
