As a former percussionist in my high school marching band, I'm well aware that most people are NOT at the game to see the halftime show. Unless you're a band parent, we're painfully aware that we're background noise while you grab a hot dog.

However, at the Big House in Ann Arbor on Saturday, the drumline stepped it up and snagged the spotlight with an upside-down percussionist.

A little "inside baseball" here, too - he's playing the quads, which is one of the more difficult instruments in the drumline. Kudos, pal. You're my new hero.
