During the pandemic restaurants were trying to come up with unique and innovative ways to get people to come out and support them, as well also trying to keep their patrons safe from getting sick. One of the biggest trends that popped up during this time was heated igloos, in which people could hang out and enjoy drinks and dinner whether it was in the summer or the winter.

The dining experience basically stuck, as there are many restaurants that still use the igloos during the winter to add to the number of people who can dine at their establishments. One of the oldest wineries in the state is now ready to do the same thing with the unique and private dining experience, as they have added six heated igloos to their property.

The igloos will be available to rent starting the winter of 2024 at Warner Vineyards in Paw Paw on their website. The heated igloos can seat six people comfortably for a private dining experience, and there are six of them available.

This is just part of the continuing growth that owner Pat Warner has seen for his business in the last few years. Although it has been a little challenging for Pat Warner, the business continues to grow, especially during the summer when his summer concert series drove in 10s of thousands of people, and millions of dollars in local revenue.

All of this happened while select individuals in the village of Paw Paw were issuing complaints to the village about the noise level his concert series was producing, and the number of concerts that were being held at Warner Vineyards.

This seems to have little to no effect, as the entire community rallied behind Warner Vineyards in a town hall meeting earlier this year.
