Watch Detroit Red Wings Young Forward Get Into His First NHL Fight

Dylan Larkin had a break out rookie season last year for the Detroit Red Wings.  So far he has yet to score a goal in this young season.   He did however get into his first fight this past weekend.

According to NBC Sports,  Larkin went at it with Nashville Predators defenseman Yannick Weber in their game This Past Weekend, a Red Wings 5-3 victory.

Interesting stat for the Red Wings is that in the early part of this season, they lead the league in fighting majors with 5.   That is only 3 less than they had all of last season which was 8 total.   A team that does not fight turning into a team of fighters.

So far Jonathan Ericsson , Justin Abdelkader, Brendan Smith and now Dylan Larkin have gone at it in a game (Ericsson has fought in a couple games).

Will this continue all season?   I guess we  shall see.  At worst it will make for some good moments for the team.  If you missed the fight you can check it out below.
