Aroldis Chapman has been one of the elite closers in baseball for the past few years.  He is known for his fastball and it's been clocked in as the fastest in the game.  He broke out the heat once again this week in Baltimore.

According to Bleacher Report, Chapman threw a 105 m.p.h  pitch to J.J. Hardy of The Baltimore Orioles.  This isn't even the fastest pitch he has thrown.  When he was a member of the Cincinnati Reds he was clocked in at 106 back in 2011.

He is currently a member of the New York Yankees, who are deciding whether or not to trade him as the trade deadline is on August 1st.

Cubs Fans could you see Chapman throwing heat in Wrigley?  Could the Tigers have a chance to land him?   I could see the Cubs landing him before the Tigers but who knows.  We will see what happens on August 1st.
