Welcome Jeff Blashill New Head Coach Of The Detroit Red Wings

Today it became official.  Jeff Blashill is the new head coach for the Detroit Red Wings.

I was a fan of former coach Mike Babcock, but I was at the point that the Wings needed a new voice.  What better person to bring in then Grand Rapids Griffins coach Jeff Blashill.

He coached many of the current Wings in GR and I think he will be great for this team.  Keep them in the playoffs and get them back to the cup finals.

I'm excited for this upcoming season.  Is it Fall yet?
