OK... I can put up with all the regular insects that we've come to know and love.  I manage  to keep my composure with all the stick bugs.  I'm even preparing for the Lanternflies we found out about last week.  But this...this is going too far!  Now we might have to deal with an invasive species of insect that's deadly!  You've got to be kidding!

In an article on detroit.cbslocal.com, the treacherous "Kissing Bug" has made it's way north and into Michigan.  I've got to be honest, I've never heard of the deadly Kissing Bug but apparently it's called the Kissing Bug because it bites people in the face and causes what the Centers For Disease Control calls "Chagas Disease".  Most people who are bitten have a mild reaction but in some cases the result is a stroke or heart failure.  You can check out more of the specific details by clicking HERE.
