Aerosmith and Def Leppard are the latest big names in rock to announce residencies in Las Vegas for 2019.  Who should be the next big rock act to head to the desert?

Las Vegas has become a destination for all types of music.   It seems like at some point during the year a major artist is performing in Las Vegas.

More and more rock bands are spending time performing shows in Vegas.  Def Leppard, Styx, Motley Crue, Guns N' Roses, Journey, The Who, Queen and Kiss are just some of the legendary bands that have done residencies.

I haven't had the chance to see any of the other rockers in Vegas but I was lucky enough to see Elton John's, "The Million Dollar Piano" show at Caesars Palace in 2011.   The show was probably the most I have ever paid for a ticket but when you are going to see an artist like Elton it was worth it.

I was trying to think of a classic band or artist that should do a residency in Vegas.  With all the rumors of a Van Halen reunion with Michael Anthony, I think they would be great for a residency.

Ozzy Osbourne could do a run of shows  it would give him a chance to still perform and not tour.  I'm sure something that could happen after he recovers from his current illness.

Who do you think should head to Las Vegas and do a Residency?
