Southwest Michigan is experiencing unseasonably warm temps this week.  So warm we will likely break records.

I reached out to WWMT News Channel 3 Meteorologist Jeff Porter about the possibility of record temps this weekend.  Porter said it is likely that we'll break records on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday and provided the following record high temps,

The record high temp for November 6th was set in 1975 at 76° This Friday's high is 70°.

The record high temp for November 7th was set in 1975 at 71°. This Saturday's high is 72°.

The record high temp for November 8th was set in 1931 at 71°. This Sunday's high is 75°.

The record high temp for November 9th was set in 1999 at 73°. This Monday's high is 76°.

The record high temp for November 10th was set in 1975 at 71°. This Tuesday's high is 75°.

If you have plans of putting up Christmas lights this year, may I suggest doing that this weekend?  When have you ever put up Christmas lights while it's sunny and 70?  Not to mention, this warm weather will be short lived according to WWMT.com.  We'll be living the Michigan cliché, "If you don't like the weather just wait a minute," as we go from 75° Tuesday afternoon to a low of 40° that night.  Even down to 32° Wednesday night.
