A Yooper’s Hilarious Showdown With A Stubborn Beaver

One of the most "Michigan" standoffs you’ll ever see recently happened in the Upper Peninsula when a man who can only be described as the most comfy-looking Yooper battled with a full-grown beaver, who was interrupting traffic, armed only with a snow brush.

Now the Internet is buzzing as this interaction is going viral, and was captured inside the car from a woman who was behind the man who had pulled over to the side of the road, apparently to get the beaver out of harm's way.

In the video below, you can see him battling with the beaver, who is pushing back against his Snowbrush as he tries to sweep him to the side of the road and get him out of traffic.

Unfortunately, this beaver is at least 20 pounds and is giving him a fight until eventually he’s able to shoot the critter off to the side of the road and back into the brush. You can watch the video below.

Only in the Upper Peninsula could being late to school and work mean witnessing a man in a full-on showdown with a grown beaver... armed with nothing but a snow brush!!!! Shout out to this King and his snow brush! And Chi Miigwetch to everyone who stopped... We have one adult beaver still alive today because of that. Poor Notorious D.O.G... Going absolutely berserk because he wanted that beaver for himself.

The beaver was unharmed and shoo'd back into the wilderness, it just took the kindness of a Yooper with a snow brush to show him the way, eh'.
