A New Restaurant Will Replace Zazios In Kalamazoo

Zazios in Kalamazoo will soon be no more. The popular Italian restaurant located in the Radisson Plaza Hotel & Suites in downtown Kalamazoo will be replaced with a new restaurant.

Plans to renovate the space that currently houses Zazios were submitted to the Kalamazoo Community Planning & Economic Development website.

The plans, you can view those plans by clicking here, show a complete renovation of the existing space with plans for a new concept. What will replace Zazios is unknown at this time. Greenleaf Hospitality Group CEO Tim Rayman told MLive that the changes are still in the planning stages and would not take place until 2021 and beyond.

The plans for the site are still awaiting approval of the Downtown Design Review Committee.
