The Detroit Red Wings this season feature two former Western Michigan Broncos in Danny DeKeyser and Luke Witkowski.   They recently talked with Fox Sports Detroit about their playing days in Kalamazoo.

According to his bio from the Red Wings, Danny Dekeyser was in Kalamazoo 2010 to 2013 then moved on to the Red Wings.

His bio says that Luke Witkowski played four years in Kalamazoo 2009 to 2013 before being drafted by the Tampa Bay Lightning.   He spent the last few years moving between Tampa and their AHL affiliate, Syracuse.

They have been reunited this year in Detroit with the Red Wings.   They are also reunited with coach Jeff Blashill who coached them both with the Broncos in 2010-2011.

So far this season Danny DeKeyser has missed the past few games with an injury.   Luke Witkowski has played in half the games rotating with David Booth on the fourth line.

Great to see these guys reunited in Hockeytown.   Do you have any memories of seeing these guys play for the Broncos?
