Being a child in the hospital isn't easy. It's even harder when you have to be in the hospital over the holidays. Want to spread a some joy to these special kids? Then join us for the 15th Annual Operation Scribble, Thursday, December 12th from 6:00am to 6:00pm at Blain's Farm and Fleet. Bring along a box of new crayons, coloring books, unwrapped toys, you get the idea. The good people at Crayons 4 Kids will create gift bags full of age-appropriate toys and distribute them to the children on Christmas. Don't have time to stop for a toy? No problem! Blain's Farm and Fleet's Toyland is open, for your convenience, and as always, cash donations are accepted.

This isn't just to help the kids have a Christmas while in the hospital. These toys, games, and books help the staff, as well. They keep a patient distracted for a test or procedure that requires them to remain still (and that's hard for anyone, let alone a child), and the parents get a break, as well. The money raised goes to purchase needed therapeutic toys, such as  instruments for music therapy, or special rockers for the NICU. There is no donation too small.

Come on our for the 15th Annual Operation Scribble, benefiting Crayons 4 Kids, Thursday, December 12th at Blain's Farm and Fleet in Portage. Special thanks to 2 Men and a Truck.
