Based on the 2003 Will Ferrell film, get ready to follow along with Buddy the Elf in Elf the Musical. As an orphan, Buddy crawled in to Santa's sack by mistake and, not being noticed, was whisked to the North Pole. Not knowing what to do with the small boy, the other elves embraced him and raised him as one of their own. However, as he grew and grew, his enormous size was becoming a problem became a big problem, and he was forced to face the truth: he's not an elf, after all. Buddy sets out to find his true identity in the big city of New York. He finds his real father, gets a real job, and changes the hearts of the people around him simply by singing louder. What quickly became a classic Christmas movie will certainly become a classic Christmas musical. Join the Kalamazoo Civic Theatre in welcoming Buddy and all his friends in Elf the Musical, running Friday, November 22nd through Sunday, December 8th.
