Three future Tigers were selected to be on the roster for the 2019 Futures Game during MLB All Star Weekend.

According to Bless You Boys, 3 Tigers prospects, Matt Manning, Isacc Paredes and Jake Rogers have been named to the American League roster for the game.

Manning and Paredes play in Double-A  Erie and Rogers is in Triple-A  Toledo.

Manning pitched in the Futures game last year as a member of the Lakeland Flying Tigers.  He gave up a couple runs in an inning and a third of work.

The Tigers top prospect, Casey Mize could of easily have made the roster but he has been sidelined with a shoulder injury. He along with Manning and Paredes were named to the Double A all star game.

All three players have had solid season for their minor league clubs.   It will be interesting to see how these three future Tigers do and if they will contribute in the upcoming game.

The Futures Game will take place during All Star Weekend in Cleveland on Sunday, July 7th.  You can watch the game live on the MLB Network at 7 p.m.
