Tigers Top Prospect Among Erie Players Named To Double A All Star Game

As the Detroit Tigers continue to struggle in 2019, a few of their top prospects have been named as All Stars for the Double A Eastern League.

According to Minor League Baseball,  Four Detroit Tigers prospects with the Erie Seawolves have been named all stars.

Top pitching prospects, Casey Mize and Matt Manning along with infielder Isaac Paredes and outfielder Jose Azocar, will represent Erie in the Eastern League All Star Game.

Mize and Manning will lead the Western Division pitching staff in the game that will be July 10th in Richmond, Virginia.  Mize is not only the Tigers top prospect, but also one of the top prospects in baseball.

He currently is on the injured list after having shoulder soreness but could be available for the game.

Manning is listed as the 32 top prospect in baseball.    Isaac Paredes is one of the Tigers top position prospects and a top 100 prospect in baseball.  Three top players for the Seawolves that Tigers fans should keep an eye on for the future.
