A Sour Beer To Check Out From Short’s Brewing

Sour beer is something that I haven't really had the opportunity to enjoy.  I have had Gose before but recently I can add "Critterless" from Short's Brewing to my list of sour brews I have tried.

This past weekend I came across a bottle of "Critterless" which is one of the November releases from Short's Brewing in Northern Michigan.   I enjoy many of their releases and since i read about this release I wanted to check it out.

"Critterless"  is an American sour ale that features mango and cherry.   At first I wasn't really into it, but the more I finished off my bottle I liked it.  It had a tartness that I enjoyed and liked the cherry taste.  It is one of the more interesting releases from Short's.   I was surprised to have found it down our way but I'm glad that I had the chance to try it.
