I am not crying, you're crying.

I have watched this video at least 10 times, and yes - I did tear up each time. I should point out my tears are absolutely tears of joy. When you see this young lady make this free throw, and hear the crowd go wild, you will feel it too.

Jules Hoogland made this awesome shot by hearing, not seeing. Jules, 17, is blind. The Michigan teen was playing with the Zeeland Public Schools Unified Basketball Team when she made the awesome shot.

As you will hear and see in the video below, the crowd is completely silent while Jules was setting up her shot. The only sound in the auditorium was the sound of for lack of a better term, a giant stick banging against the backboard. The banging sound was done to help Jules focus on where the hoop was.

Think about that for a minute. Let it sink in, just like Jules sunk this shot. I have no confirmation of this, but I am guessing Jules put in many practice hours to make this shot. If that is indeed the case, her persistence certainly paid off.

There is no doubt Jules could feel the love from the over 2000 people in the crowd when she made this shot. I am in awe of this young lady, and you will be too I am sure of it. Check out Jules in action in the video below, I bet you will watch it more than once.
