Since 1962, the Chieftains have been sharing their blend of traditional Irish music with audiences around the world. See them March 1st at Miller Auditorium.

A man in his 80s has a lot of stories to tell. The legendary Paddy Moloney has recorded with Paul Mccartney, Mick Jagger, Sting and Stevie Wonder- and that's not even what he is known for. A multi-instrumentalist at 8, by age 24, he recruited the first incarnation of the Chieftains, and Paddy has been bringing Irish music to the world ever since.

"The Chieftains remain one of the top traditional folk musicians in the world. Their ability to transcend musical boundaries to blend tradition with modern music has hailed them as one of the most renowned and revered musical groups to this day.  After more than 55 years of making some of the most beautiful music in the world, The Chieftains’ music remains as fresh and relevant as when they first began."

Celebrate St. Patrick's Day with the music of The Chieftains at Miller Auditorium on Friday, March 1 at 8 pm. Tickets $35-$50.
