Darren McCarty To Answer Questions Live During Hot Wing Challenge

If you've never seen the show Hot Ones on YouTube you gotta check it out. The show takes celebrities, musicians, athletes, and all sort of famous people and sits them down and asks them a series of 10 questions. The kick is each question, the interviewee has to each one hot wing that has a different sauce on it than the previous, and they keep getting hotter as the questions continue. Former Detroit Red Wings great Darren McCarty will be participating in a similar event that mirrors Hot Ones on October 20th at the restaurant Frame, in Hazel Park.

Seatings are at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m for the event, which benefits UCP (United Cerebral Palsy) of Michigan.  Former pro wrestler Jay Adams will be conducting the interview. On season 9 of Hot Ones, one of the 10 hot sauces featured is Royal Oak-based "Hell Fire Detroit" and its habanero sauce. McCarty will eat chicken wings with the same line up of hot sauces from season 9, including Hell Fire Detroit, according to Freep.
