The Exorcist is the scariest film of all time.  At least according to the box.  I don't know if I'd go as far as saying it's the scariest film of all time, but I'll tell you what, the Exorcist is one scary f***ing movie!  I'll place it in the top five.

If you haven't seen the Exorcist, and you love horror films, you really owe it to yourself to watch it.  I'm sure you're all familiar with the plot: little girl gets possessed by the devil and Max von Sydow comes to exorcise her. And let me tell, Dick Smith's special effects are extraordinary. Great plot, great directing, great acting, and beautifully shot, the Exorcist is the ultimate tale of good vs. evil. The movie really speaks for itself, so there's no need for me to gush about it for six more paragraphs.

True story: after Black Sabbath saw the Exorcist, they were too afraid to sleep by themselves, so they all slept in the same bed (at least according to legend).

Editor's note: Each day in October, Ramone is picking a classic (or cheesy) horror film to review and share.
