Detroit Lions Longest Tenured Player Re-signs With Team
The Detroit Lions have had players come and go but they have not had many to have played 16 seasons with the team. One of those players is coming back for another year.
According to M-Live, 2 time Pro Bowl long snapper, Don Muhlbach has re-signed with the Lions for his 16th season.
The Lions signed him originally back in 2004 and he has played 228 games in Detroit. If he makes the upcoming roster, he will play in his 16th season with the Lions. He trails only long time kicker Jason Hanson in team history.
Muhlbach is coming off a Pro Bowl season where he joined teammate Darius Slay in Orlando.
If you missed the Pro Bowl this year the AFC dominated and beat the NFC 26-7.
One of the few consistent players the Lions have seen over the years and he will be playing in Detroit for at least one more season.
