The Detroit Pistons are currently 3-5 on the season and their top draft pick, Sekou Doumbouya is heading down to play for the Drive in Grand Rapids. 

According to M-Live, Doumbouya was assigned to the Drive in Grand Rapids.   The Pistons number 15th pick will play for the Drive as they start their season on Friday against the Raptors 905.

The Grand Rapids Drive is in the NBA G League and plays their games in Grand Rapids at The Deltaplex Arena.

Along with Doumbouya, The Drive will feature other Pistons youngsters like Jordan Bone and Louis King on the roster.

First home game of the season will be at the Deltaplex Arena on Friday Night, November 15th against the Greensboro Swarm.
