The Detroit Lions home opener on Monday, September 10th has caused the Tigers to change the time of their game that night at Comerica Park against the Astros. 

According to the Detroit Tigers, the game time for the Tigers and Astros game on September 10th was changed to 6:10 pm.

This change was made ahead of what should be a high level of fans in the area for not only the Tigers game, but for the Monday night season opener for the Lions that evening.

The Tigers encourage fans that will be attending that game to arrive early and if possible prepay for parking.

The Tigers will be hosting the Astros and former star Justin Verlander for three games beginning that night.

The Lions will be opening their 2018 season at Ford Field on Monday Night Football against the New York Jets that game will kickoff at 7:10 p.m.
