Michigan loves its college basketball, especially in the home of the Spartans.

In a WalletHub survey, East Lansing was listed as the third best city for college basketball in the country, which is no surprise, given the home town Michigan State Spartans' penchant for Final Four runs every March.

Ann Arbor also ranked high, coming in at #20 in the survey, which took into account the performance of the local teams in the NCAA tournament, the length of service of the current coach, and the fans engagement, among other factors.

East Lansing scored highest in fan engagement (tied for first), which is no shock to anyone who was faced the screaming wrath of the Izzone student cheering section.

Other Michigan college towns ranking on the list included Mt. Pleasant (CMU) at 81st, Ypsilanti (EMU) at 101st, Rochester Hills (Oakland University) at 119 and kalamazoo (WMU) at 203rd.

Grand Rapids was largely ignored despite having many college hoops teams in town, and one of the hottest small college rivalries in the nation with Calvin-Hope.
