Michigan basketball have a few weeks left of this season.  One game next season will see the Juwan Howard coached team head to London to play a College Basketball powerhouse. 

Michigan is set to play Kentucky in London on December 6th  according to the story from M-Live.   The game will be a part of the London Showcase at the O2 Arena.

The showcase is a fundraiser for the Basketball Hall of Fame and will not only feature Michigan and Kentucky,  but a game between Marist and UMBC (Maryland Baltimore County).  TV coverage will be announced at a later date.

The match up will be the first of three for the Wolverines and Wildcats over the next three years with games in Ann Arbor and Lexington the next two years.

This season Michigan is currently 17-9 overall and 8-7 in the Big Ten.   Kentucky is ranked 10th and is 21-5 overall and 11-2 in the SEC.
