Are There Millions of Fake Eggs Circulating Throughout Michigan?
A lot of people were looking forward to lower egg prices and lower grocery prices in general they were promised only to be met with the harsh reality that none of that was ever going to happen, as egg prices continue to sort because of the avian bird flu that is hit many farmers hard.
Because of the avian bird flew, many bird species have died, and the eggs produced have drastically changed, and the output has not been as high as it normally is. When that happens, there is a strong change in the amount of output you get, making the demand get higher, with less product will get you inflation on the prices of eggs.

But now it seems we have a new threat to worry about which is fake eggs. Manufactured things that look like eggs, but are not. This is a rumor that is not really anything new, and only going around again because of the inflated prices. There is a viral video that shows what appears to look like an egg factory of people producing chemically made eggs in a factory.
So are there millions of fake eggs circulating throughout Michigan?
I wouldn’t be so quick to jump on the conspiracy train, because as Factly pointed out back in 2023, the video that surfaced was fact-checked, and they showed that many Chinese publications spoke out against the rumors.
One Chinese security bureau, even clarified that the video actually shows a factory where they make egg-like toys for children. The food, safety standards, and authority of India also released a guidance note that debunked the entire thing, saying:
Plastic eggs or artificial eggs are a myth mainly due to the fact that there is no technology available to produce a plastic/artificial egg that would perfectly resemble a natural egg.
I know the world is burning around us and we now have a meteor that has a 2.3% chance of hitting us, but our eggs are still sacred to us and are not being duplicated in a factory somewhere.
