Farmers Alley Theatre is closing its 10th season, and ending their time in the Little Theater, with their most ambitious musical production to date, a Mel Brooks’ Tony Award Winning musical. The Producers opens Friday, July 20th and runs through Sunday, August 5th.  Stephen Wallem ("Thor" from Nurse Jackie) and Jeff Award Winner Tony Humrichouser  star as Max Bialystock and Leo Bloom, two men who set out to make the worst Broadway production in history! Fans of the movie will not be disappointed in the stage adaptation, and fans of musical theater will delight at this Broadway caliber production. In fact, the choreography was directed by veteran Broadway performer Bill Burns who choreographed one of The Producers' national touring companies. Dirk Lumbard, last seen as King Arthur in Farmer's Alley's production of Spamalot is back alongside local talent Atis Kleinbergs and Dwight L. Trice, Jr., and WMU alum Cassandra Sandberg.
