Figgs Fast Food Reopens For 2025 Season In Battle Creek

There is a local fast food restaurant that has been a staple of the Battle Creek area since 1988 and delivers some of the best cheeseburgers, barbecue, chicken, pork chops, fish, hot dogs, and all the sides that you can handle.

Since opening up in 1988, figs, fast food has become a local favorite, that people look forward to every spring. Located at 559 Hamblin Ave, the staple business was spearheaded by Andrew and Patricia Figgures.

Sadly, in June 2022, Patricia passed away, with Andrew remaining the sole owner, who recently turned 80 years old in February. Now in their 37th year, they returned to Battle Creek as they announced that they are officially open:

Good morning, We are thrilled to announce our opening on July 8, 2025, at 11 am. On the opening day, our selection of side dishes will be limited. Please be advised that we are currently a cash-only establishment. Our operating hours are 11 am to 7 pm, Tuesday through Friday, and every other Saturday. Taste Tradition At Battle Creek’s Beloved La Loma Supermercado

The shop is run seasonally, meaning they normally open in June and close down in November, but it is not uncommon to see them sell out of some of their best dishes, like their signature ribs.

Those in particular are heavily in demand, so it’s smart that you act quickly when it comes to getting in and getting your favorite dishes. They even have a loyalty card where you can collect 10 stamps and receive a free Figg burger when you visit them.

This is a spot that’s truly unique to Battle Creek, and we no doubt will be seeing heavy business in the 2025 season.
