As someone who has a daily alarm that rings promptly at 3AM I am always in search of some good coffee.

Knowing that, several people messaged me when they saw signs from Five Lakes Coffee that read 'Coming Soon!' and told me I had to try it. And now, it's finally open!

Just yesterday, Five Lakes Coffee made the announcement on their Facebook page that their Kalamazoo location had opened for business:

Today, I went to try Five Lakes Coffee for myself.

Located at 2026 W. Main Street in Kalamazoo, you can tell that this is a brand new building. Everything was incredibly clean and just had a 'fresh' feeling. Being one of the first customers in the door, it was almost like the staff was waiting just for me as a welcoming committee. They were friendly, prompt and made conversation as I waited for my extra large caramel mocha latte. It was delicious, by the way (and no, this is not a paid advertisement).

Their sizes range from small (12oz) to X-large (24oz). Clearly, I was feeling extra tired today because I ordered the extra large which was pretty much the size of my face.

And I needed every drop.
