Fly’s All Time Grammy Awards Moment

The Grammy's are coming up on Sunday night and I remember back to the all time favorite moment of mine which happened back in 2001.

That year Eminem was nominated for Album of the Year for his "Marshall Mathers  LP".  The category that year  featured albums from Beck, Radiohead, Paul Simon and Steely Dan.

Most people were picking Eminem to win the award also a few had Radiohead.

Now I am a huge Steely Dan fan and was excited when their first album in years was released that year, "Two Against Nature".   These were great songs and I wasn't surprised that it was nominated.

Now it could be that I was a fan but I thought they had a chance to win.   Nobody would believe me but I said at the time watch they could win and score the upset.

Sure enough they shocked everyone and picked up the award.    My favorite moment from the Grammy's that I doubt will ever be topped.
