The Detroit Lions recently changed up their logo and will unveil new uniforms in April.  That is not the only change for the upcoming season as Ford Field is set to have a renovation.

According to ESPN, the stadium will have an almost $100 million dollar renovation that is set to be finished this summer.

The renovation will include new video boards that will be similar to the ones at AT&T Stadium in Dallas.  These monsters will be 8 feet shorter than those in Dallas but way bigger than the ones currently in use in Detroit.

New in stadium Wi-Fi along with upgraded suite and concourse areas will also be apart of the renovation. The sound system will also be completely replaced.

This is the first major renovation for the stadium since it opened in 2002.  The work will be done in time for the start of the Lions season.
