He had a stellar career with the Detroit Lions. Former receiver Calvin Johnson will be honored for his college career as he has been selected for the College Football Hall of Fame.

The retired receiver according to M-Live,  has been selected as a member of the Class of 2018 in his first year of eligibility.

Before he was the number 2 pick of the Lions, he played college ball at Georgia Tech for three seasons and scored 28 touchdowns.

He had a great career with the Lions that saw him put up some great individual numbers, unfortunately he never won a title.   We should see him inducted into the Pro Football Hall Of Fame in Canton, Ohio when he becomes eligible.

Another high profile player that Calvin will join in this years class is University of Michigan great and Heisman Trophy winner Charles Woodson.  You can see the full list of all the inductees here.
