Wingstop Opens Third Kalamazoo Location On Gull Road

Some speculation circled on Gull Road over the past year or so, as to WHAT was goin in between Biggby Coffee and Penn Station East Coast Subs. The location remained empty for a while, but some activity late in the summer, and early fall gave some indications.

Now, the day is here, and Kalamazoo now has a third Wingstop location, but now, it's on the east side of town.

The latest restaurant in town, opened at the beginning of December with much anticipation. The chicken wing restaurant, based out of Addison, Texas, opened its third location in Kalamazoo in just a year.

The first location was opened in September of 2023 in the West Century Center Strip Mall off of Drake and West Main, near Affordable Dentures & Implants, and Odyssey Tabletop Gaming.

When that location opened, it was announced there were plans for the second location on Westnedge, next to Jersey Giants.

This Third Wingstop location is now open to the public, and as usual, a new restaurant usually has a little room to grow when they first open.

I gave them a few days to work out some kinks, and to my surprise, the staff seemed like they knew what they'd gotten into. It was IMMENSELY busy, and chaotic. (I've never seen that many doordash and uber eats orders come in at once!)

I ended up waiting a little longer than most people would like, but even as busy as they were, they kept checking on me, to make sure I was good, and to let me know where my order was in line. I really appreciated that.

BUT, once I did get my food... fire, as expected.

Shouts out to the staff, and to Wingstop for pulling up and delivering in my neck of the woods. You'll be seeing me in there at least twice a week for sure.
