Help Eastwood Little League

Along with death & taxes there's another certainty...West Portage and Eastwood Little Leagues will always be rivals. But I am going to dispense with the gravitas and call on sports fans everywhere to help Eastwood raise funds to repair their fields damaged by storms.

Now, some might think it's because of my kindness, my generosity, my adherence to good sportsmanship.  You would think wrong!!!

My speaking out is for totally selfish reasons.  Ya see, my daughter Kaitlyn's West Portage All-Star Team won the State Championship their back in the early 2000s and I want to see the field preserved.  There!!!  The rivalry remains!!!

All kidding aside.  It is vitally important that we continue to offer the opportunity for our children to be involved in activities that help build character and self esteem; not to mention exercise and athleticism.

I know if the situation were reversed, Eastwood would help out West Portage.  Of course, they'd never let us forget it.  Dang it!!!  I can't help myself!!!  For more information go to Eastwood Little League or check them out on Facebook.
