Is This Michigan License Plate Unfortunate or Crudely Clever?

Hey, friends! We're going to play a little game. Is this an unfortunate license plate, or a clever way of tricking the Secretary of State in to stamping "My Penis" on some tin by intentionally spelling it wrong. If the intention was "My Penis" does the joke make up for it really saying "Map Anus"? My brain hurts from trying to work this one through.

Now, it could very well be a wholesome plate, as my friend Hoop recently pointed out: "Ma, Pa, n Us." If that is true, then I apologize for where my brain lives. It is a fairly disgusting place not for the faint of heart. It's good to know that I am not alone...
