Michigan is a place that has an extremely rich musical culture especially when you take a look at Motown and everything it has done for the music industry. There are very few if any genres of music that can they have never been influenced, changed, or affected by Michigan in some way. I think this has continued to pay off as the concert scene is immaculate.

Looking around the state of Michigan there are hundreds of locations for artists or bands to play for their fans. I believe that these venues and artists are doing a great job of taking advantage of the plentiful opportunities which the people of Michigan are thankful for.

Kalamazoo is one of the cities that has several venues available to hold a concert and have done a great job of providing several successful and upcoming artists of all genres to the city. One of those venues is Western Michigan University's Miller Auditorium which has multiple theatres inside that they keep busy and booked.

One of their newest bookings was just announced and many people in the Kalamazoo area are excited for who's coming. Miller Auditorium has announced that Academy Award winning rap artist Juicy J will be coming to Kalamazoo in April 2025 and will be performing at the Zhang Theatre.

Juicy J is one of the members of former rap group Three Six Mafia before taking off in his solo career. There has been no mention of the other members of the group making appearances but that doesn't mean it's off the table. The Oscar winning and Grammy nominated artist will perform on Saturday, April 12th at 6pm.

Discounted tickets are already on sale for WMU students and will be on sale to the public starting Friday, March 8th. Fans can purchase tickets either online, by phone at 269-387-2300, or by stopping by Miller Auditorium's box office during business hours: Monday-Friday, 12-6 p.m.
