The regular season is ready to begin for the Kalamazoo Wings this weekend.  Ahead of their first game Saturday  the team announced their roster for opening night.

The K-Wings announced their opening lineup for their first game of the season Saturday night in Indianapolis against the Fuel.

The roster features 23 players with familiar faces like Justin Taylor, Kyle Bushee, Ben Wilson and Eric Kattelus in the lineup.

The team is set to play their home opener at Wings Event Center on Friday night, October 19th  against the Ft. Wayne Komets.

Fan fest will be going on as well as the team will retire Kevin Schamehorn's number 26 before the game.

The annual orange ice game and Nickelodeon night is also coming up that will take place on Saturday night, October 27th.   The night will feature orange ice along with the team wearing special Ninja Turtle jerseys.
