On the brink of turning 30, Jon, a young composer living in New York City, fears he's running out of time to make his mark. His girlfriend is growing tired of city life and wants to get married and move to the suburbs. His best friend is making a killing working on Madison Avenue. Jon, however, is having trouble making ends meet while waiting tables and doesn't want to give up on his dream of writing the great American musical. Set in 1990, Tick, Tick Boom! explores the universal feeling of holding on to your dreams through the most difficult of life's challenges. Written by Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning composer of Rent, Jonathan Larson, you'll fall in love with this youthful, endearing Broadway blockbuster at the Kalamazoo Civic's Parish Theatre.

Tick, Tick Boom! runs January 10th through January 26th, with evening and matinee performances. Tickets are general admission, and vary in price. Call the box office for details, 269-343-1313.
