Kalamazoo County Parks Are Now Hiring for the Summer

Some of these jobs pay more than $15 and hour and last longer than the season. Kalamazoo is hiring almost 50 people to work at County Parks.

Just like the Facebook post says, if you love being outside, this is the job for you. Kalamazoo County parks is looking to fill 10 full-time positions and hire 35 seasonal workers to care for and maintain City parks, assist visitors, prepare and execute events and more.

These are not Summer jobs for students, as candidates must be at least 18 years of age. For all the requirements, expectations and an online application, click through to the Kalamazoo County website.

The Kalamazoo County Parks system includes five County Parks

1. Cold Brook
2. Markin Glen
3. Prairie View
4. River Oaks
5. Scotts Mill

The Kalamazoo River Valley Trail, and the Kalamazoo County Expo Center are also under the jurisdiction of the Kalamazoo County Parks department.
