Kalamazoo Speedway is going green to celebrate the red, white and blue on 4th of July weekend with two race nights and fireworks. See the revised 2020 schedule.

Even though they have yet to drop the green flag, it's been a long year at Kalamazoo Speedway. The excitement usually begins in May as drivers and pit crews come out of hibernation and begin to rev up the engines and begin practice with hopes of capturing the checkered flag and a season championship.

Like everywhere else in the wide world of sports, the 2020 season is different. After postponing the opener and hoping to go racing in June, the track now has its first race on the calendar for July 3 and another on the 5th. The racing is sure to be as exciting as the fireworks after dark  at Kalamazoo Speedway as the track is finally going racing in 2020.

Fast Fridays | July 3- Sept 4

  • Weekly racing in several classes | Season Championship Sept 4

'Merica 250 Enduro | July 5

  • fwd enduro | stacker cars | mcr dwarfs | fireworks

Klash XXVIII | Wed July 29

Night of Destruction | Sat Sept 19

  • Mayhem and fireworks

Super Shoe Nationals | Oct 2-4

No new COVID-19 rules have been posted by the track, so maybe fans are just one big race family?

I've been begging Gary for Friday night fireworks and stock car races! Wasn't exactly how I wanted it to happen. Gonna be a fun opening night!
