This is how you do truck racing. These modified cabs of 18-wheelers will race on the world's fastest 5/8 mile paved track at Kalamazoo Speedway.

Truck racing is nothing new as NASCAR has been racing pickups since 1995, first sponsored by Craftsman, then Camping World and now known as the Gander Outdoors Truck Series. These trucks take it to the next level. The Bandit Big Rig Series puts drivers behind the wheel in the seat of a big rig to turn laps at speeds of up to 100 m.p.h.

The 13 race season started in Alabama on March 23rd, then traveled to South Carolina, Missouri, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Minnesota and Wisconsin before visiting Michigan and Kalamazoo Speedway for the 8th race of 11 in the season that wraps up in Bristol, Tennessee on October 12.

Racing starts at 7pm, but gates open at 3 and fans can meet the drivers from 5-6:15.
