Kalamazoo Wings Season Ends With Game 6 Playoff Loss
The 45th season of hockey in Kalamazoo comes to a close as the Kalamazoo Wings lose in Game 6 of the Playoffs.
The K-Wings tried to extend the series to a 7th game but unfortunately fell to the Cyclones in Cincinnati 4-0 and lose the best of 7 series 4-2 on Tuesday night.
Cincinnati moves on to play Toledo in the next round.
The K-Wings finished the regular season at 36-31-5 with 77 points. They were 4th in the central division.
A great season to wrap up what was the 45th season of hockey in Kalamazoo. With the season now over, Ben Wilson has signed a PTO with the Chicago Wolves in the AHL.
The Wolves are currently playing the Grand Rapids Griffins in the AHL playoffs. The deciding game in the series game 5 will be Sunday in Rosemont,Illinois.
